Ugg!

Ugg! I killed my back yesterday. Filled three trash bags with about 90% of the weeds in our back yard. I need to go out again today if I want to make it look nicer and then there is still the front yard and the side of the house to do. Not really so much though. When I was out there I found a huge toad! haha I love toads! I just had to show it to Taiyo. At first he didn't really know what to think of it, but then it peed. haha He was shocked like "OMG what happened mom?!!" then I told him "the toad went shi-shi" (pee) and he just started laughing so hard! haha I think he really understood what I told him! hehe You should have seen how fun he thought it was when I let the toad hop away. When it jumped into some tall grass Taiyo was like "mom! its GONE!!!" haha

Well it is official!

Well it is official! I have started sorting my things. I got out all the nice summer dresses my mom got we when I was pregnant and washed them. Not really in style for Japan and I'm still not really used to dresses, but they should do just fine for Palau. Or at least I hope because I don't really have any other summer clothes. (it is pretty much summer all year in Palau) hehe Next I need to see what to do with Taiyo's stuff. He has way more than me I think.
Speaking of Taiyo though, he seems to have a rash all over the back of his hands and a little on his arms and neck. I doesn't look like it is bothering him, but I think I am going to take him back to the doctor if it doesn't get better in a day or two.

Taiyo is still feeling a little sick.

Taiyo is still feeling a little sick. We took him to the doctor today. I got to see a few of the wonderful ladys that took care of me when I was pregnant. They were so happy to see Taiyo! hehe Everyone in the waiting room was looking at me like "wow why is she getting so much attention?" hehe Anyway, Taiyo has to take some nasty tasting stuff for a few days, but he should be just fine.

Taka said for sure we are moving to Palau on Sep. 1st!! OMG only two weeks! I really need to start going through all our stuff and sort everything into what we take and not. .....not really looking forward to that part, but it must be done. Shouldn't be too hard though, all we have is clothes. hehe Oh! that reminds me I didn't tell Takas mom yet. oops! oh well, I didn't tell my mom either. hmmm and I should probably email my sister one of these days.... hehe

Gosh I wonder what its gonna be like living in Palau! It seems like we have been in Japan for so long. Its almost hard to believe we plan on staying in Palau for at least five years! Thats a long time to me for living in one place. But after that if we are able to really move back to Tonga I will be more than happy to stay there for the rest of my life. I love Tonga and I miss everyone there so much! I wonder how much it will change by the time we go back there.

After not working for about two years and never leaving Taiyo with a babysitter, I think that is going to be a little hard to deal with at first. I really hope we can find a good person who will be able to take care of Taiyo throughout the time we live there. I really don't want him to have to deal with going from one daycare to the next all the time.

Oh!! Yesterday my mom told me that her and Appa are really gonna try to have a baby! haha wow that would be so amazing! She says Appa wants to have a boy. hehe I always wanted a little brother! 22 years younger though, gosh. Well I really hope their prayers will be answered anyway! Love yall!

Taiyo did poo on the TOILET!!! hahaha Well, I for one am overjoyed about it! hehe You should have seen his face when I showed him what he had done! hehe I hope he keeps it up from now though. haha

We went to a festival tonight.

We went to a festival tonight. Taiyo was dancing to the music, it was so cute!! He just about got drunk on Pepsi too. haha His Grandma let him drink it and he was just going crazy! Every time he took a sip he burst out laughing because of the bubbles. hehe Gosh I wish I had the video camera with me. Maybe I'll have to give him another soda just to see if he'll do it again. haha







花火大会が各地であるようですが、皆さんいかがお過ごしでしょうか？
今日は台風が近づいてきている為か、東京の天気はあまりよくなかったですね。
パラオも台風の影響により海況があまりよくないらしいです。せめて旅行している方には影響がなければよいのですが・・・。
暑い日にはペプシが一番ですね。私とHanaはペプシ派で、コークはあまり好きではありません・・・。
皆さんはどちらがお好きでしょうか？

Taka is going to buy a car because...

Taka is going to buy a car because we need it in Palau. He found a pretty good deal on a used car. Actually shipping it to Palau is going to cost more than the car itself. I just hope it runs good. I miss driving, its been 3+ years. (not counting the time I had to drive Taka to the hospital in Tonga after I broke his toe) I love long drives on the highway the best. (believe it or not) Music up, windows down and best of all when my sister is with me. We had some really good times driving across Texas and back and forth between Tulsa and OKC. Most of all at night when we weren't suffering from the hot sun. Once we could both drive mom was always in the back seat. She did mind though, she enjoyed relaxing. hehe

Hmmm....Takas sister is making cookies in the microwave again.....I hope she cleans up the huge mess this time. Last time she did this we ended up with a plate full of rocks sitting on the table for three days until I finally through them out. I hope they come out better this time though, she does try her best. Although I think she puts more thought into making them look cute than tasting good. Oh well, live and learn.

Well I better go see about making Taiyo some lunch. hugs

Hmmm...kind of sad...the one day...

Hmmm...kind of sad...the one day that I didn't need to cook dinner and have time to get on and chat with Taka and it seems hes not there. I won't be able to wait much longer before I have to go put Taiyo to bed and all.

Anyway he emailed me. His boss said that we might be moving to Palau around the 4th of Sep. Not very far away is it? I really hope we can get all our visa stuff worked out before then. I still need to get a health check for that.

Taka might come visit for a day next week. It will be so nice to see him, but even harder to say good bye this time I think. At least I have the hope of not being away from him anymore after we move to Palau.

Seems like summer finally got here. Sunny and hot today at least. Taiyo and I took a really nice walk around sunset. He is getting faster at walking now and I am so happy that he won't let go of my hand until we get to the park. hehe

Taiyo has been such a good boy today!

Taiyo has been such a good boy today! I'm so proud of him! We went to an event that took...well at least four hours. I thought Taiyo would be fussy because there was about 100 other kids there running around making noise, but within 15 minutes he was fast asleep. He woke up so calm and happy! I couldn't believe it. haha He didn't even get fussy when kids and everyone got all up in his face to say hello and whatnot. And then he really made my day! We were walking out in the hall and he let go of my hand and just walked all over by himself!! I can't believe I didn't have a camera! He was so happy about it he didn't even cry when he fell down. Gosh I wish Taka could be here to see all this new stuff he is doing! You know Taiyo even gave his cookies to some other kids. It was so sweet. Okay yall, I'm almost done...really! But on the way home we stopped to eat and Taiyo found out that if you blow into a straw something funny happens. hehe Not a good habit, but its cute the first time. And now he is so cute sound asleep on the floor.

The most extreme feelings in the whole world come from being a parent. It truly is amazing! I love being a mommy!!

I am so proud of Taiyo! Today he has been really good about his toilet training. haha I know those of you without kids don't really mind hearing about that, but it really is the highlight of my day. hehe

However, I now have to keep the living room door closed so that Taiyo won't try climbing up the stairs by himself. He got really fussy about that because he thinks its fun.

Also I think I'm gonna stop giving him milk soon. He eats enough not to need it really and I am starting to be in pain from his teeth. I think I'm gonna miss it though, its so sweet to just curl up and snuggle with him sometimes.

Looks like the sun is coming out a little. I better go take Taiyo for I walk before its gone again.

Its been raining hard...

Its been raining hard non stop all day. Nice to look at, but I feel sorry that I can't take Taiyo outside to play. Its been rainy all month and he really gets fussy being stuck in the house all day. I've only been able to take him on two good long walks all month! Usually we would go walking and play at the park for at least a hour every day. I'm going pretty nuts being home day after day too. Oh well.

I had a nice talk with Taka last night. He is so sweet when he misses me! hehe I ended up crying though because I miss him so much too. I love you Taka!

Grrr.....sometimes I really think...

Grrr.....sometimes I really think Takas sister has no brain. She came home and within like 5 seconds she dropped Tiayo on his head. Oh, but thats not all, just a minute after that she tells me to come and look and actually thought it was funny that she let Taiyo climb half way up the stairs by himself! Yeah and left him there to come and get me! What if he had fallen down?!! And now that Taiyo knows he can do it he will probably be trying to all the time. But did I get mad and smack her like I felt like doing? No, I kept it in and nicely showed her that I am teaching Taiyo not to do that because he could get hurt. Yelling at her or even telling her about things never works, I can see that from her mother. So I just hope by example she will get something in her head and be more careful with my son because he actually really loves playing with her.

Today has been soooooooo long! Takas mom took Taiyo and I way out to this place that has a little pool outside because she wanted Taiyo to play in the water. It was fun for a few minutes until it started raining. Then we sat down and a group of really sweet old ladys came to say hi to Taiyo. hehe Then we went to some festival thing and looked around. Everyone was looking at Taiyo and I almost like we were one of the attractions of the place. haha Anyway, Taiyo got to see a few dogs (he LOVES them) and Takas mom got me some shoes just because they were the first pair we found in Japan that fit me. hehe They are cute shoes, but I need to fix them up so they don't hurt between my toes. hehe Then we went to the mall and walked all over and then to another store. Got some new stuff for the house. Then finally got home and spent about a hour and a half putting the new stuff together and in the right places.

Yup thats my day pretty much except whatever I forgot. Taiyo is sound asleep on the floor.....no wait he just woke up.

And right now I'm talking to my husband on skype.

The sun came out for the first time this month and is SOOOOO HOT! I was going to take Taiyo to the park to take some pictures, but for once he actually didn't mind going back inside. We did take a short walk though. Still really hot in the house too though. Poor Taiyo is really fussy about it, I think I'll just take his clothes off and let him show off his diaper a little. hehe

He is getting braver about walking by himself too! Sometimes without thinking he will just let go and take a few steps. hehe

I'll put some pics up tomorrow I think. ;)

Just now I left Taiyo out in the hallway thinking that he would follow me back into the livingroom. When he didn't I went to look what he was up to and he got all the way to the front door reaching for his shoes! haha He was so happy when he saw me, he wanted to go outside. I'll have to take him for a walk soon. Right now he is sitting by the back door playing with his shoes. Maybe I'll go out and do some weeding so that he can play outside longer. :) fun fun I have to teach him that putting on shoes is not for the game of taking them off though. hehe bye

Taiyo is funny, he just woke up from his nap. At first he wanted me to come and get him, but I didn't and he got a little upset. Then I said "Come here Taiyo" (in Japanese) and he gave me this look like "what? I have to do it myself?" haha He is still there on the floor, so lazy. hehe Every now and then he will make a sounds to see if I'll come and get him. When I look he gives me his "yay I'm cute" smile. Not this time little Mr.! I know very well that you can get up on your own.....awww I helped him turn over and when he got up to crawl he slipped and hit his nose on the floor. Oh! Thats I good boy Taiyo! Yay he didn't really cry and now hes playing by himself! I'm so proud.

In other news...well I washed my pillow today. boy did it need it too. I hope it drys before tonight though. hehe

Takas mom rented some CSI DVDs for me. I guess she thought it would be nice to let me watch "English drama".

Taiyo is gonna switch from diaper to pull ups next week! Takas mom lets him pee out the back door every morning and he knows how to say "shi-shi" (pee) now so we are going to at least try to train him even though I do think it is a little early. OOPS I forgot to put his diaper back on just now and he peed on the floor!! haha gtg

Rainy day inside. Taiyo just bit me! He really gets fussy if I don't take him outside everyday.

Get this! I actually woke up on time on my own today! Taka didn't think I could do it. haha But now I have to keep it up. hehe

Takas dad came last night. Taiyo didn't cry this time, but still not use to him. Its was cute the way he just kinda sat there looking at him the whole time.

昨日は初出勤を行い、夜はそのまま得意先の方と飲み会に行った。
ちょっと驚いたのは、いかにお互いが「ばか」であるかをみんなが強調しているところだった。しかし、だんだん聞いていくうちに、「ばか」と言うのは「海ばか」とか、「ダイビングばか」とか、そういう意味での「ばか」だと言うのが分かってきた。印象的だったのは、「そういうばかが、ガイドする時には最高の接客をするのよ」という言葉だった。確かに「ばか」にもなれない人は、人を楽しませることが出来ないのかもしれない。
私も「ばか」になれるように頑張ろう！　（すでに「釣りばか」ではあるが・・・）

Taka left this morning.

Taka left this morning. Taiyo and I walked out to the bus to say goodbye. I cried a little, but not as bad as I thought it would be, maybe it just hasn't really hit me yet. Taiyo as always waved byebye too late, but he watched the bus until it was out of sight. I think he was thinking "hey mom, why didn't we get on the bus with daddy?". Poor baby, he loves bus rides, but has no idea that daddy is not coming home for three months. I wonder what its gonna be like when he comes home.







いよいよ始まった東京での生活。果たしてどうなるのだろうか？
また、パラオに行く前に日本でジギング・キャスティング用の釣具を買おうと考えている。既にキャスティング用のロッドはあるから、ジギング用ロッドと兼用リールを一つ買おうと考えている。リールの候補はダイワ ソルティガＺ　６０００ＧＴだ。どのサイトを見てもかなりの評価をもらっている。これはかなりいけているかも・・・。しかし、やっぱり高い！！
会社の方からもジギング用・キャスティング用の釣具を探していて欲しいと言われているのだが、いくらくらいが目安なのだろうか？　いくらでもいいなら、やっぱりダイワ ソルティガＺ　６０００ＧＴくらいじゃないと、GTや２０kgのカンパチやクエ、その他の底魚をジギングで釣りあげるのは難しそうだ。とにかくいろいろ探してみよう。

You know, Taiyo STILL won't walk on his own after that week he started to, but fell down so much that he doesn't want to anymore. Anyway thats not stopping him from getting around all over the place. He scoots on his butt across the floor until he gets to the table, a chair or anything else he can get a hold of (my legs) and stand up. I always have to make sure the door is closed and keep an eye on what he is playing with. The good thing though is that I don't have to walk around holding him as much as I used to, that was really killing my back. I still get my exercise running after him though, "no Taiyo don't do that!" "Thats not food!". hehe

And then there are the times when he really wants to play, but he just won't do it without me...like right now. hehe bye
